Funeral Services Held For 3-Year-Old Victim Of Alleged Abuse
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Funeral services were held Saturday morning for a little boy who police say was tortured daily by his godmother and her boyfriend in West Philadelphia.
Family and friends said their last words to Jaquinn Brewton as he was laid to rest in the Nicetown-Tioga section of the city.
The 3-year-old died Monday from injuries he allegedly suffered on June 29th while in Nadera Batson's apartment (see related story).

Police say Batson, 22, and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Marcus King, beat and burned the little boy with a blow torch over the past several months.
Batson and King have been charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, and other related offenses.
