PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A local funeral home and cemetery are donating their services to four family members killed last week by drag racers on Roosevelt Boulevard.
Joel Winston, President of Greenmount Cemetery in Feltonville says a grave site has been donated to 27-year-old Samara Banks, and three of her children who were killed July 16th on Roosevelt Boulevard.
"The baby is being buried with her mother. She'll be in the same casket with her mother buried at 10 feet and the other two children will be buried separately above them; one at 8 feet, one at 6 feet. So, all three are together in the same grave."
Chandler Funeral Home in Juniata Park is donating caskets and other services to the family.
Winston explains the motivation behind the donations: "They're our neighbor. They're right there in the neighborhood, how could we not? You know what I mean? We have the grave to offer, my men are working during the day anyway, so it's something that every person should think of doing -- give something to somebody else."
Banks and her children -- ages 4-years-old, 23-months and 9-months-old will be laid to rest on Saturday.
