Funeral For 6-Year-Old Boy Who Saved Sister's Life In Camden
CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – Family and friends gathered for the funeral of six-year-old Dominick Andujar in Camden, N.J. Saturday.
The boy was killed last weekend on Ware Street when he tried to stop an intruder from sexually assaulting his 12-year-old sister.
"I've been with the police for over 20 years and I've seen acts of bravery and heroism," Camden Police Chief Scott Thomson said. "I don't think any have come close to what that six-year-old did that night to save his sister's life."
Authorities say suspect Osvaldo Rivera was high on marijuana laced with PCP ("Wet") when he committed the crime.
Rivera is being held on $5 million bail.
