Funeral Arrangements For Fallen Officer Moses Walker Jr.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Funeral arrangements for fallen Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker Jr. are now in place.
Officer Walker's viewing will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, located at 2001 Lehigh Avenue in Philadelphia. The viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
A public viewing will be held at the Deliverance Evangelistic Church on Monday, August 27 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow the public viewing at 10:00 a.m.
Committal Services will be held after the service at Fernwood Cemetary, located at 6501 Baltimore Avenue in Lansdowne, Pa.
Officer Walker was shot and killed on Saturday, August 18 at 5:56 a.m. in the 2000 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue after finishing his tour of duty.
