Frustrations Mounting As SEPTA Strike Enters Day 3
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The city transit strike is still in effect as SEPTA and the Transport Workers Union are still without a deal.
And on day 3 of the strike, it's much more of the same for frustrated and weary SEPTA riders.
Here at the station, the parking lot is full. There are SEPTA employees here, ambassadors, helping people get to where they need to be.

There's an infusion of new riders on the regional rails, who can't take a bus, subway or trolley right now, so they have to make do, even if that means losing sleep.
"I'm getting to work two and a half hours earlier than I need to be at work. But the good thing about our company is we have flex time. So I get to leave earlier at 2 o clock."
And beat the evening rush, she says.
On the other side, Penny from West Oak Lane says she started her day later because she has a 20 block walk to the train station that she doesn't want to make in the dark.
Election Day Becoming More Of A Concern As SEPTA Strike Continues
"I just want to get to my doctor's appointment. I know I'm gonna be late and I hope he sees me."
When it comes to talks, SEPTA's board sent our a letter saying they are negotiating in good faith but the Transport Workers Union is not.
The board says if the strike goes to Election Day, the union should call off the strike for that day. If not, SEPTA will look for an injunction
