9-Year-Old Girl Brings Live Rounds, Shell Casings To Fox Chase Elementary School, Police Say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 9-year-old girl brought live rounds and shell casings to an elementary school in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, police say. The incident happened at Fox Chase School, located at 500 Rhawn St., around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a 9-year-old female student was in possession of five live rounds and two shell casings.
The school was placed on lockdown but it was lifted at 1:37 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
