CHERRY HILL, Nj. (CBS) -- Cherry Hill Police were looking for four suspects who robbed a brother and sister inside their home in broad daylight on Tuesday.
Police Lieutenant Sean Redmond says the brother and sister were inside a home in the 11-hundred block of Society Hill Boulevard, when there was a knock at the door by a man wearing a postal worker's uniform. The woman answered the door and the man forced himself inside, with three other men following, two of the men were armed with handguns. Redmond says the suspects tied up the occupants of the house.
"They ransacked the home, and ended up fleeing by unknown means," says Redmond. "After approximately 15-20 minutes, one of the victims was able to free himself and his sister, and they were able to call police."
The robbers took an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. Redmond says there is a possible description of a getaway vehicle.
"Possible vehicle involved is described as a dark colored truck or full size sports utility vehicle, with tinted windows and shiny rims."
He says that vehicle was spotted in the neighborhood a few hours before the crime.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the crime is urged to call police.
