Former Penn State QB Matt McGloin Signs With Raiders
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin signed a three-year contract with the Oakland Raiders, McGloin's agent announced on Wednesday. McGloin also reported the news on his Twitter account.
McGloin was an undrafted free agent after having his best season for the Nittany Lions in 2012, thriving under new coach Bill O'Brien. He left Penn State as the school's all-time leader in touchdown passes, as well as holding single-season records for touchdown passes, completions and pass yards.
McGloin joins a quarterback situation in flux with the Raiders. They traded for Matt Flynn during the off-season, along with Terrelle Pryor, Tyler Wilson and Kyle Padron.
