For One NJ Valentine Couple, A Smoothie Life Ahead
VOORHEES, NJ (CBS) - Romance takes many forms, as evidenced by a Valentine's Day wedding today in a South Jersey smoothie shop.
The groom was accompanied down the "aisle" in the Smoothie King on White Horse Road in Voorhees, NJ by a guy in an inflated Smoothie costume, the bride by store co-owner Dominick Furnari (near right).
The store's other co-owner, Lynda Furnari, says this is a first for any Smoothie King location and it's been in the works for about a month.
Decorations included paper rose petals strewn on the floor and a white paper arch suspended over the couple. Refreshments included cake and, of course, smoothies.
"We're not really traditional kind of people so we thought it would be kind of funny to get married at Smoothie King," said bride Melissa Schabilon.

Groom Jason Haus explains that the location made sense as a nexus of their relationship.
'I'm on a diet and she's vegetarian, so it's hard for us to find a place to go out to eat. So the only place we ever agree on is Smoothie King," Haus said. He adds that he has lost about 120 pounds on his smoothie diet.
"I pronounce you husband and wife," intoned Rev. Miles Bernstein, the officiant (center of photo below).
