Foles Named Offensive Player Of The Week For A Second Time
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Nick Foles made NFL history on Sunday with his seven touchdown passes against the Raiders. In being named NFC Offensive Player of The Week for the second time, he's made Eagles history.
Foles is just the third quarterback in team history to win two of the awards in one season, joining Donovan McNabb twice during the 2000 season, and Michael Vick who won it three times in the 2010 season in which he finished as the first runner-up in MVP voting to Tom Brady.
Foles threw for 406 yards on 22-28 passing, with seven touchdowns and zero interceptions. Foles also won the award for his performance against the Bucs earlier this season.
