Flyers Trade Talbot To Avalanche For Steve Downie
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Flyers have traded Max Talbot to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for former Flyer Steve Downier, the team announced today.
Downie has seven points (1 goal, 6 assists) so far this season with the Avalanche. He was a first round pick by the Flyers in 2005, and spent two seasons in Philadelphia before he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Talbot is in his ninth NHL season, and third with the Flyers. He has one goal and one assist in 11 games this season.
