Philadelphia is just 2-4 here in the early-going of this lockout-shortened season, but one of their wins came at the expense of the Rangers. Flyers skating away with a 2-1 win at the Center on Thursday. That snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Flyers at the hands of the Rangers.
The Flyers are coming off a split-decision over the weekend in Florida. They hammered the Panthers on Saturday night 7-1, but followed that up by getting smacked in Tampa on Sunday, 5-1.
The Rangers are 2-3 on the campaign. They last skated on Saturday when they picked up a 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
