Flyers Skate With Maple Leafs Tonight In Toronto
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers will continue their playoff push tonight as they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Philadelphia is 8-2-4 in its last 14 games, but they are coming off a 4-1 road loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. With 63 points, the Flyers come into tonight's game against Toronto four points behind Boston for that final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins are idle tonight. Florida will be in action, hosting Chicago. The Panthers are two points ahead of the Flyers and two points behind the Bruins.
This will be the third and final meeting between the Flyers and the Maple Leafs this season. The Flyers have won the first two. On December 20th, the Flyers rolled to a 7-4 win in Toronto. Then on January 31st, the Flyers shut out the Leafs at the Center, 1-0.
