Flyers Lose Timonen For Season, Welcome Bruins To Wells Fargo Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Just three games remain in the season for the Flyers, the first of which is Tuesday night at the Center against the Boston Bruins.
They will be without Kimmo Timonen for the remainder of the season with a fracture in his right foot.
The Flyers have been eliminated from playoff contention and they sit at 20-22-3 as they head into tonight. They have split two meetings with Boston this season, they lost to the Bruins 3-0 in Beantown on March 9th and beat the Bruins at the Center 3-1 on March 30th.
This is a critical game for the Bruins. They have already clinched a playoff spot, but they come into play tied for the lead with Montreal in the Northeast Division.
This game also represents the return of Jaromir Jagr to Philadelphia. The future Hall of Fame forward spent last season in Orange and Black. He has split this season between Dallas and the Bruins, and he comes to town with 16 goals and 18 assists.
