Flower Show Preview: The Garden to Table Studio

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- This year, the "Garden to Table Studio" moves to the main floor of the Philadelphia Flower Show.
Sponsored by Emmaus, Pa.-based Organic Gardening magazine, senior associate editor Katie Walker says the studio is bringing in a bumper crop of celebrity chefs.
"When you're using fresh, locally grown vegetables, you're going to have these beautiful colors," Walker says, "and so our chefs are taking inspiration from the theme to create plates that are full of great color, and creating almost a color palette on your plate."
Among those bringing their favorite recipes are Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby of Vedge, at 1221 Locust Street in center city; Aimee Olexy of Talula's Garden, at 210 W. Washington Square; and the Cooking Channel's Fabulous Beekman Boys.
"They've got a new, heirloom vegetable cookbook coming out, so they're going to be showing off recipes from that, and giving a sneak preview [including tomato tart in top photo]," Walker says of Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge, who transplanted themselves from New York City to Beekman Farm in upstate New York.
And you'll be able to make it all yourself.
"We're going to have recipe cards for every recipe that we show," Walker notes.
The "Garden to Table Studio" will present cooking demonstrations at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 7:30pm each day during the Flower Show.
