First Of Two Public Viewings Held For Slain Officer Fox
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (CBS) -- The first public viewing for a slain police officer was held on Tuesday.
On Tuesday evening, family, friends and co-workers gathered to remember Officer Brad Fox, who was killed last week while on-duty.
The officer's widow, Lindsay Fox, held their five-month-old daughter as the casket arrived at Epiphany of Our Lord for the first of two public viewings.
Officer Fox was shot and killed on the eve of his 35th birthday last Thursday while pursuing a hit and run suspect. Investigators say that 44-year-old suspect Andrew Charles Thomas killed Officer Fox in Plymouth Township before taking his own life.
A second public viewing was held Wednesday, which was followed by a Catholic Mass at 11 a.m.
