First Ever West Philadelphia Gospel Competition Accepting Applications
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Annenberg Center is holding its first ever West Philadelphia gospel competition and the deadline to apply is coming up fast.
The first ever West Philadelphia Gospel Competition will be held at the Annenberg Center on April 2nd, 2011 and all West Philadelphia gospel groups are invited to submit an application to audition for one of three categories: Traditional Gospel, A Cappella, and Contemporary.
The winner of each category will open for the world renowned a cappella group, Take 6, at the Annenberg on April 30th.
"Take 6 is very excited about this as well, because they love the partnership, the idea, that the local community is involved." says Annenberg's Jane Camp.
