Firefighters Knock Down Gas-Fueled Fire In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia firefighters have knocked down a fire at a residence in Northeast Philadelphia.
A gas-fueled fire in the 1400 block of Creston Street was placed under control just before 9 p.m. Thursday night.
Fire officials quickly descended on the residence after a gas line ruptured and fed the electrical fire for the better part of an hour. PGW officials quickly disabled gas the the building and the fire knocked down.
PECO officials also assisted with the fire.
There is no word on what started the fire and an investigation is underway
