Fire Rips Through Rowhome in Mantua
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A fire ripped through a rowhome in Philadelphia's Mantua neighborhood Wednesday night.
The fire was reported around 6:45 p.m. in the 3600 block of Spring Garden Street.
The view from Chopper 3 shows firefighters battling the fire from the roof.
The three-story building was evacuated as fire crews doused the flames with water.
Firefighters placed the blaze under control shortly after 7 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross responded to the scene to help two residents displaced by the fire.
The Red Paw Relief Team also responded to help at least two displaced pets.
