Firefighters Battle South Philadelphia Blaze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Firefighters battled a blaze in South Philadelphia Friday afternoon.
At about 2 p.m., rescue crews, and workers from PECO and Philadelphia Gas Works were called out to a three-story building near 10th and Catherine streets.
Upon their arrival, they found intense fire and smoke throughout the building and structural damage that was in danger of collapsing.
The fire was put out at about 2:30 p.m.
At this time, no injuries have been reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
