Firefighters Battle Blaze And Heat In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Firefighters battled the heat and a house fire in the city's Mayfair neighborhood Saturday morning.
Authorities arrived to the 7100 block of Cottage Street a little after midnight. The heat was an obstacle for firefighters as they made sure they stayed hydrated.
Police said four victims were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries. The American Red cross Southeaster Pennsylvania Chapter is assisting five people who were displaced by the fire.
There is no cause at this time. Authorities are investigating.
