Firefighter Hospitalized Battling House Blaze In Bucks County, Pa.
LEVITTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – One firefighter was taken to the hospital as crews battled a house fire in Bucks County on Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called at about 8:47 p.m. to Goldenridge Drive in Levittown.
When fire crews arrived, they found an elderly couple outside of the residence. They were inside the home when the fire started.
Crews brought the fire under control shortly after arrival. It appears the fire started in first floor bedroom and spread to second floor.
A male resident suffered from singed hair and forehead. The conditions of the firefighter and the resident are unknown at this time.
Investigators believe a malfunctioning lamp caused the blaze.
