PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Six people were temporarily trapped in a Tropicana Casino elevator when it malfunctioned around 3:45 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Atlantic City police.
Firefighters were called and while they were working to free the people in the elevator, an unknown person stole their fire truck that had been parked in front of the main entrance.
No one was caught and police have no suspects, but the fire truck was recovered undamaged two blocks away from where it had been abandoned.
As for the people in the elevator, the firefighters managed to free all six casino-goers without problem and everyone was in fine shape.
