Officials: Fire Inside Rowhome Kills Mother, Toddler In Lancaster County
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) -- Investigators say a trash can left on a stove started a fire that killed a mother and her 2-year old daughter in Lancaster County. The fire started Saturday morning at a row home in Columbia.
It took about 100 firefighters 45 minutes to get the flames under control.
According to investigators, there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
