Fire Heavily Damages Home In Hunting Park
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that heavily damaged a home in North Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
The fire started at about 1:30 a.m. inside a home in the 3800 block of N. Park Avenue in the city's Hunting Park section.
Firefighters were able to place the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
There were no reports of any serious injuries. However, fire officials said the home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
