Fire Destroys Building At Cumberland County Jail
LEESBURG, N.J. (AP) - Investigators are seeking the cause of a fire that damaged a two-story maintenance building at a state prison in southern New Jersey this weekend.
No injuries were reported in the blaze early Saturday at Bayside State Prison in Leesburg. And authorities say it didn't involve any areas where inmates are housed.
The fire was reported around 12:40 a.m. and was soon extinguished by firefighters from Cumberland and Cape May counties.
The amount of damage caused by the fire was still being determined.
