Fire Damages Home In Lindenwold

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (CBS) -- Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a home in Camden County early Thursday morning.
The fire started at about 1:30 a.m. inside a home in the 900 block of Beechwood Avenue in Lindenwold, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the home belonged to a firefighter who had just finished his shift and went out to take his dog for a walk. When he returned, his home was on fire.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in under 30 minutes.
There were no reports of any injuries, but fire officials say the home suffered extensive damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
