Final Weekend To Buy SEPTA Pope Passes Before Papal Visit

By Kristen Johanson

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - This weekend, SEPTA will be selling Regional Rail passes for the Papal visit.

SEPTA Spokesman Andrew Busch says if you haven't gotten your pass to see the Pope, "it is the last weekend before the Papal visit, so we wanted to give folks another chance if they had some free time this weekend.

Busch says you can buy them at Suburban or Jefferson stations, or...

"We have passes that will be valid for all 18 outlying stations where we will be operating from on the Papal visit weekend."

The one-day Papal passes are $10 round trip. So far, none of the chosen Regional Rail stations have sold out.

"There are not any plans at this moment to have weekend of sales," Busch says, "so folks would still have this weekend and then several days next week to purchase the passes as well."

And if you are concerned about parking, SEPTA's website has an interactive parking map for each station.
