Final Farewell: Slain Pa. Trooper Laid to Rest
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-- Hundreds gathered in Altoona on Thursday, at the Blair County Convention Center, to say goodbye a state trooper killed in the line of duty.
Family, friends and law enforcement from all over packed the center for Trooper Landon Weaver's funeral services.
City officials and fellow officers paid their respects Wednesday at a public viewing.
Suspect In Trooper's Slaying Sent Text: 'I Killed The Cop'
The 23-year-old was shot and killed Friday while responding to a domestic disturbance in Huntingdon County.
State police shot and killed the suspect.
