22-Year-Old Steals Cadillac With 10-Month-Old Baby Still Inside
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Around 10:45 Saturday morning, police responded to an incident on the 2000 block of E. Firth Street in Philadelphia.
The female victim reports she parked her 2010 Cadillac SRX, still running, outside of her mother's house.
When she went to open the door to her mom's house, 22-year-old Minnie Collins walked up to the Cadillac, opened the driver's door to the vehicle and told the victim's 14-year-old niece to get out.
Collins then sped off in the vehicle with the victim's 10-month-old son, who was still inside.
The car was stopped with the help of two civilian witnesses who pinned the Cadillac in at Frankford and Cumberland Streets.
No injuries were reported in this incident; however there was minor damage to the victim's car.
Collins has been charged with Kidnapping, Carjacking, Robbery, Theft and related offenses.
