Female Suspect Arrested In Burglary From Delaware Apartment
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware arrested a female suspect for her alleged role in a home break-in during which several electronic items were stolen.
Hollie Smith, 24, was arrested Tuesday in connection to the incident that occurred on May 2nd inside an apartment in the 2500 block of Stone Place at the Village of Kent Apartment complex.
According to investigators, the apartment owner came home and found the rear sliding door to her apartment was damaged and several pieces of electronic equipment were missing from the home.
After a week of investigating, police were able to identify the 24-year-old Smith as a suspect in the crime. She was taken into custody without incident.
Smith has been charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief and Felony Theft.
