Female Charged In Burglaries Of 6 South Jersey Homes
SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- A South Jersey woman is facing numerous charges for her alleged role in the burglaries of several homes.
Jessica L. Gosson, of Laurel Springs, New Jersey, is charged with the three counts of burglary, three counts of attempted burglary, two counts of burglary tools, two counts of criminal mischief and two counts of theft.
According to the Gloucester Township Police Department, the home burglaries happened during the months of January and early February off of Jarvis and Garwood Roads in Sicklerville.
According to police, the suspects would knock on the doors of homes, and if someone would answer, they would ask if they needed someone to shovel snow. If there was no answer, they would knock on the rear door and then force entry into the home. Once inside, the suspects stole jewelry and other valuables.
In addition to Gosson, investigators believe there are additional suspects involved.
Gosson, 23, is being held at the Camden County Jail in default of a $70,000/10% bail pending court.
