Father, Son Escape Safely From House Fire In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A father and his son were able to escape after a fire at an unoccupied home spread to their house late Sunday night.
The fire started at about 11:30 p.m. inside a home in the 4600 block of Westminster Avenue in the city's Mill Creek section.
According to investigators, the fire started in the second floor of an abandoned home. The fire then spread to a home next door that was occupied by a father and his son. Fire officials say the father and son were able to safely escape.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
