Father Arrested, Charged With Assaulting 5-Month-Old
LINDENWOLD, N.J. (CBS) – Police say the father of a 5-month-old infant was arrested and charged after the bay was found to have multiple injuries.
According to officials, Lindenwold police were notified by DYFS after the female baby was admitted to Virtua Hospital in Voorhees.
Police say the infant had several broken ribs, internal injuries, a laceration to her face, bruises, a broken left arm and several ribs that were partially healed from an earlier injury.
Authorities say that the baby lives with her mother and father in the Arborwood Condos in Lindenwold.
22-year-old Shaquaan Hinton, the child's father, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was placed in the Camden County Correction Facility in lieu of bail.
