Fast Food Armed Robbery On Old York Rd. Caught On Video

ABINGTON, Pa. (CBS) -- Abington police are hoping surveillance video of an armed robbery early Monday morning at a McDonald's on Old York Road will help them find the three men who held up the fast food restaurant.
Police say it was just after 6am when two men, at least one armed with a handgun, burst into the store and announced a holdup while a third man served as lookout.
Investigators say one of the men stayed up front with the employees while another went to the office and forced the manager to open the safe.
Abington deputy police chief John Livingood says an undetermined amount of cash was taken.
"We're still working on a couple of those issues, so we're not exactly sure, but it does seem like there was some inside knowledge of the store operations," Livingood tells KYW Newsradio.
There were no shots fired and there were no injuries.
Police believe the men fled on foot toward Chester Avenue. Police were looking for three black males. At least two were wearing hooded sweatshirts but had scarves covering their faces.
