Fans Think Emery Should Stay In Goal For Flyers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After losing to the Rangers 4-1 in game one, the Flyers bounced back in a huge way getting a 4-2 win and evening the series on Sunday afternoon. Ray Emery, who has been starting in net for injured goalie Steve Mason in the first two games of the series, made 31 saves and played a major part in the Flyers victory.
Mason is close to returning, so the "WIP Morning Show" asked on the Audio Roadshow app, "Who should start in goal for the Flyers tomorrow [Tuesday] night?"
In a tight race, the majority of fans chose the hot-handed Emery, over the sure-handed Mason.
