Fans Put Finishing Touches On March Madness Brackets

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The NCAA tournament actually begins tonight.  Is your office pool ready?

Before the traditional field of 64 begins play on Thursday, there are four play-in games:  two tonight and two tomorrow. Does that mean you have to fill out the brackets for your office pool by today?  Not necessarily.

"I don't think we're putting too much stock into the play-in games.  I think we're bypassing them and not using them as points as far as the pool is concerned," said James, who works in Center City. He said his pool will start counting points on Thursday. Besides, he doesn't expect the play-in winners to become bracket-breakers.

"Most people have those teams losing in the first round anyway, so it's not a good bet to bet on a play-in round winning, and then them winning in the second round."

You never know.  Butler, last year's Cinderella team, wrecked a lot of office pools on the way to the championship game.
