Eyeing Future Expansion, Camden's Adventure Aquarium Giving Up Its Seals

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) -- There are some big changes coming to the Adventure Aquarium, in Camden, NJ.
Kevin Keppel, executive director of the aquarium, made two announcements today regarding a couple of the exhibits:
"The first is that our five seals are going to be moving to a great home at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. And also, secondarily, we're making plans to open a new penguin exhibit down the road."
He points out that there are penguins at the aquarium now, but they plan to bring in many more.
----
"We're going to be building an entirely new penguin habitat outside," Keppel says.
Meanwhile, visitors have until the end of the month to say goodbye to the aquarium's seals.
"It's not an easy thing" losing the seals, Keppel admits, although he's keeping his chin up. "We're keeping them together all as one family, as one colony, and they're going to such a great new home that's just down the road. We'll be able to see them when we want, and we know that they're going to a great place."
