Explosion Blows Out Windows Of West Philadelphia Home, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say an explosion was forceful enough to shatter the windows of a rowhome on the 200 block of South 62nd Street. The bomb squad was sent to the scene in West Philadelphia shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning but left a short time later.

Police say it appears that someone threw an "m-series" device on the front porch and it exploded.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
