EXCLUSIVE: String of Robberies Target Pizza Delivery Drivers in Upper Darby

UPPER DARBY, Pa., (CBS) -- Police have at least one suspect in custody in a frightening crime spree -- three deliverymen held up at gunpoint.
All the robberies happened in Upper Darby, Delaware County.
Eyewitness News reporter Todd Quinones talked exclusively with one of the victims.
A deliveryman tells Eyewitness News as he was fighting with one of the armed suspects, he was just trying to survive. He was just thinking about getting home to his two young children.
The arrest of one of the suspects played out on the street of Upper Darby as Chopper 3 was overhead.
Eighteen-year-old Amir Marshall is locked up, police say.
A 17-year-old alleged suspect alluded officers, at first.
"Destroying their lives. I mean they don't care at this young age, but my concern is that they don't kill anybody," Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said.
Investigators say the two paired up ambushing and robbing at least three deliverymen the past few days. But police add the suspects could also be responsible for up to a dozen more similar crimes.
"They are a two man crime wave, is what they are," Chitwood said.
In each case, the pizza delivery was really just a set up.
The deliveryman from Vera's Pizza was delivering an order to this home on Radbourne Road Monday night.
One suspect armed with a gun was on the front steps and the two began fighting.
"As I was getting into a wrestling match with the gunman, the other guy from behind was hitting me, but I didn't feel it because my adrenaline was rushing," the deliveryman said.
The deliveryman and father of two thought he might die.
"It crossed my mind a little bit, but I just realized it's either me or them, and I'm looking like I got to come out, because I have something to live for more than they do," he said.
The two suspects then started running.
The deliveryman got the attention of an Upper Darby police officer who was making a traffic stop in the area.
Records indicate the officers chased the two who ran through another home on Clover Lane before catching up with Marshall and confiscating a .25 caliber handgun.
As it turns out, the homes the alleged suspects were using to set up their ambushes were vacant. In the meantime police here are still looking for the second suspect.
