Ex-Boyfriend Charged With Murder Of Gloucester County Woman
WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office, Rocco L. Carsillo has been charged with the murder of 50-year-old Margaret Ann DePietro. (See Related Story)
DePietro was found dead Wednesday evening by a friend and a family member who went to check on her after she did not answer a telephone call.
An autopsy determined that the victim had died from multiple stab wounds.
Carsillo was charged late Thursday night with first degree murder, third degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and other related offenses. He was also a convicted felon.
He is being held in default of $500,000 bail.
The victim and Carsillo had a relationship dating back to 2003 which included a history of domestic violence. Recently, DePietro obtained a temporary restraining order against Carsillo in November 2013.
