Ready for a scare? Halloween may be next Thursday, but folks in the Philadelphia area are celebrating all weekend with a variety of spine-tingling chills and candy-corn-sweet thrills.
This weekend we're highlighting several fall festivals and block parties, Halloween-themed festivities like pub crawls, Spooky Mini Golf, Pumpkin Fest, the Great Pumpkin Patch Express and much more. Plus, we're highlighting a fan-favorite musician who's sure to get you howling at the moon when she performs at The Met early next week.

Spooky Sips: A Halloween Candy-Inspired Beer Festival
Looking for something sweet but can't start trick-or-treating until next week? Evil Genius Beer Company in Fishtown is hosting Spooky Sips: A Halloween Inspired Beer Festival on Saturday where guests can enjoy both the sweetness of Halloween and the classic taste of craft beer.
Spooky Sips will feature five candy-inspired brews, like, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter, Candy Inspired Sour, Caramel Apple Ale, Pink Starburst Ale and Chocolate Pumpkin Porter.
Try all five brews for just $15. Spooky Sips starts at noon and goes until 5 p.m.
Bite Nite featuring Summer House's Kyle Cooke at Wicked Wolf
Wicked Wolf on Chestnut Street in Center City is hosting a Halloween party Saturday night featuring a famous friend. Bravolebrity, Kyle Cooke of the hit reality show, "Summer House," will be spinning tracks starting at 10 p.m.
Guests are highly encouraged to dress in a Halloween costume for Bite Nite. This is one Halloween party you won't want to miss. Tickets to Bite Nite start at $29. VIP table admission tickets are also available online.
Brews & Boos Crawl-O-Ween and Haunted Haddon Market
Haddon Ave will be a little extra "boo-zy" this weekend with Brews & Boos Crawl-O-Ween on Saturday. This Halloween bar crawl offers free Jitney shuttle service to nine bars along Haddon Ave, including PJ Whelihan's Pub, Brewers Towne Tavern, The Taproom and Grill, Treno Pizza Bar, The Pour House, Keg and Kitchen, Central Taco & Tequila, Reunion Hall and Tom Fischer's Tavern.
Brews & Boos is pay-as-you-go and the best part is, there's no cover charge to enter! Halloween costumes are encouraged. This Crawl-O-Ween event runs from 2 to 10 p.m.
If a Halloween bar crawl doesn't sound festive enough for you, the Haunted Haddon Market will take over Haddon Square from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The market is a family-friendly event featuring local vendors, fire pits, a beer garden, a DJ and activities for children.
Flyers vs. Minnesota Wild; Flyers vs. Montreal Canadiens
The Matvei Michkov experience returns to Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon with afternoon pucks at the Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers are on a six-game losing streak, but the Russian rookie has lived up to the hype with three goals and seven points in seven games. The Flyers are giving out fanny packs to fans. Puck drop is 1 p.m. Tickets to see the Flyers take on the Minnesota Wild start at $32.
The Flyers are back at it on Sunday going head-to-head with the Montreal Canadiens at 7 p.m. Tickets to see this night's matchup start at $24.
Fishtown Annual Halloween Block Party
Fishtown is getting festive this Saturday with its annual Halloween Block Party hosted by the Fishtown Neighbors Association. The block party kicks off at 1 p.m. and runs until 4 p.m. featuring family-friendly fun at Konrad Square and Dauphin Street. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best and can even trick-or-treat!
The Halloween Block Party will have live music headlined by The Ardvark Felon and Black Buttafly. Plus a pumpkin patch with paint pens for decorating, candy (of course), and local beer courtesy of Philadelphia Brewing Company.
18th Annual Halloween Festival & Parade in Fairmount
Philly Art Center's Halloween festivals this weekend are crossing state lines! The Philly Art Center will host two free, family-friendly festivals in Fairmount and across the bridge in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The 18th Annual Halloween Festival and Parade in Fairmount offers festivities including the make-and-take art station, an activity zone, and a parade featuring the Positive Movement Drumline. The festival runs from 2-4 p.m. just in time for the parade to begin. at 4 p.m.
Philly Art Center will host their inaugural Halloween festival in South Jersey at their Cherry Hill studio. This hauntingly fun festival will also offer a make-and-take art station, a baby activity zone and sweet treats for guests to enjoy.

Franklin Square Spooky Mini Golf
Who said mini golf can't be scary? All October-long Franklin Square is offering Spooky Mini Golf for guests of all ages. This Halloween festivity is the perfect family-friendly event to get you and the kids in the spooky spirit!
Spooky Mini Golf is available until October 31, every day from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets to play cost $15 for adults and $12 for children. Franklin Square also has a new Boo-zy Bar open Thursday to Sunday, 6 to 9 p.m. for adults, plus a free fountain show for all guests.
Dalton Farms' Pumpkin Fest & Tri-State Sunflower Festival
There's no better place to enjoy a fall festivity than by visiting Dalton Farms in Swedesboro, New Jersey. This is the final weekend for this South Jersey staple's Pumpkin Fest and Tri-State Sunflower Festival, where fall lovers can frolic among the blooming sunflower fields and pick the perfect pumpkin.
Festivalgoers can also pick their own zinnias and sunflowers while joining in on family fun attractions like the brand new corn maze, giant slide, trike track and low ropes course. PEANUTS The Great Pumpkin Patch Express
For those still in search of the "Great Pumpkin" families, adults and children can board the Great Pumpkin Patch Express for its final weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the East Broad Top Railroad in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania.
Recommended wearing your Halloween costume, the family-friendly event includes a train ride to the Sincere Pumpkin Patch to meet Charlie Brown and Snoopy, costume contests and more.
At the pumpkin patch, there are many activities to explore for the hour-and-a-half visit such as Charlie Brown's Game Alley, pumpkin decorating and bowling, and you can't forget Lucy's Psychiatric Help Booth.
Tickets range for adults [ages 13 and up] at $30 and $35 and for children [ages 2-12] at $24 and $29. Four train schedules start from 10 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. to depart and from 12:30 p.m. through 5 p.m. to return.
Halloween at Hershey Park

This Halloween season, Hersheypark transforms into an immersive haunt experience starting at 6 p.m., featuring classic creatures lurking in the shadows offering spine-tingling jump scares. With three zones and five haunted houses including, the Haunted Coal Mine, Twisted Carnevil, and the brand-new Estate of Evil — guests are sure to be on edge.

Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass

Latto at The Met Philadelphia
Georgia's Big Latto will bring the taste of "Da Souf" to The Met Philadelphia on Tuesday, Oct. 29 on her Sugar Honey Ice Tea tour.
Named after her third album, the Sugar Honey Ice Tea tour also features Mariah the Scientist and KARRAHBOOO who are also from the Peach State.
The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
