Even Though Thanksgiving Is Over, Lots Of People Are Still Eating Turkey

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Sick of turkey yet? Many people are not. In fact even though Thanksgiving has passed, some people just can't get enough turkey this weekend.

You would think that business at The Original Turkey at Reading Terminal Market would've slowed a little bit; that's not the case this holiday weekend:

"People are out here buying all the turkey. They've really been buying a lot."

So why is turkey still on people's minds?

"We look forward to the leftovers, but this year we didn't get them so that's why I'm in line getting another turkey sandwich."

"It just looks so good! I love all the sides with it. I mean, I'm getting the sandwich with stuffing and cranberry and gravy, it's just like the season."

Do some people eat as much turkey during the rest of the year as they do during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend?"

"No, hardly at all."

"For some reason we do not, but I definitely love turkey."

"I always say I'm going to cook a turkey in the middle of the year and I never do. So I'm always looking forward to it, now."
