Eric Lindros To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a six-year wait, Eric Lindros is finally going into the Hall Of Fame.
The former Philadelphia Flyer and 1995 Hart Trophy winner led the Flyers to the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals.
Concussions hindered Lindros' career which was shortened to just 760 regular-season games, so his total numbers (372 goals, 493 assists, 865 points) are far from staggering.
Before Monday, Lindros was the only non-goalie that has won a league MVP award, since 1945, to not be elected into the Hall of Fame.
Former Flyers coach Pat Quinn, 71, was also elected into the Hall Of Fame.
