Emoji Passwords: The New Trend In Online Banking?

LONDON, UK (CBS) – Emojis might replace traditional four-digit PIN codes in online banking.

British Software Company, Intelligent Environments, launched the feature.

The company claims emoji passwords are easier to remember and are more secure -- with 44 emojis to choose from, there are about 3.5 million possible permutations.

"Emoji Passcode is mathematically more secure than traditional methods. There are 480 times more permutations using emojis over traditional four digit passcodes," the company says.
