2 Charged With Murder After Man Found Dead In Elk Township
ELK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) — Two South Jersey men have been arrested in connection to the death of a man in Elk Township back in March.
Gloucester County Prosector Sean Dalton says 33-year-old Thomas Bergholz and 47-year-old Lawrence Bohrer, were taken into custody early Tuesday morning at separate locations and charged with murder, robbery and related offenses.
"They entered Mr. Fazzio's home for the purpose of robbing him and tied his hands and feet together leaving in a position which caused him to sustain serious bodily injury, resulting in his death," said Dalton.
He says the men used the ATM card to withdraw $500 from his account.
Days later, on March 13, Fazzio's family found him dead.

Dalton says it appears Fazzio knew his killers.
"They were acquaintances, as to the exact nature of the relationship we don't have that information at the current time," he said.
Bergholz was picked up at a Camden homeless shelter and is in Salem County jail pending a detention hearing.
Bohrer was arrested by U.S. Marshals at a relative's home in Philadelphia, and is being held pending an extradition hearing.
An autopsy determined the cause of death was "mechanical and positional asphyxia" and the manner of death was homicide.
