By Hadas Kuznits
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Some electronics stores are finding that lots of folks are in the market to buy a television this week.
If you're looking to buy a television for Super Bowl Sunday, folks who sell electronics are ready for you.
Adam Aharoni, the manager of Stereo Sound here on Market Street, says they'll have extra staff on hand this weekend.
"This is probably the biggest weekend of the year to the people who buy televisions. It's income tax season and its also the Superbowl."
And he says prices of televisions are lower than usual this week.
"Because there's so much competition between the big companies -- Samsung, Panasonic and LG are giving instant rebates for this week only. It happens like a Black Friday weekend, Superbowl weekend and Christmas week. So those are like the three best times of the year to buy the TV."
He says he's used to folks coming into his store in a panic before the big game.
"Ah, yes. Every year it's always the last-minute shoppers, too -- 'I need a TV and I need the biggest one and I need it for right now!'"
