Elderly Woman Injured In West Philadelphia House Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - An elderly Philadelphia woman was taken to the hospital after being injured in a house fire early Thursday morning.
The fire started at about 12:30 a.m. inside a home in the 200 block of North Hobart Street in West Philadelphia.
According to fire officials, the unidentified woman was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for smoke inhalation. The woman's exact condition was not immediately known. Neighbors said she lived alone.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
