Elderly Man Shot Dead In Burlington County Home
BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) - Pemberton Township Police say that an elderly man from Browns Mill, N.J. was shot and killed inside of his home.
Police were called to 129 Margaret Street just before 9 a.m Saturday morning.
Upon their arrival, officers reportedly found the homeowner, 79-year-old Valpa C. Rosa Sr., dead from gunshot wounds to the neck and head.
Investigators are working to determine when Rosa was shot.
A firearm was recovered inside the home that is believed to be the one used to kill Rosa, according to authorities.
Detectives from the Pemberton Township Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit are conducting the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
