Elderly Man Rescued From 3-Alarm Millville House Fire
MILLVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – An elderly man was rushed to the hospital after being rescued from a house fire in Cumberland County early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at about 3:30 a.m. inside a home in the 900 block of Buck Street in Millville, New Jersey.
An unidentified elderly man was rescued from the home by firefighters and was air-lifted to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
The blaze struck three alarms and it took firefighters approximately two hours to place it under control.
One firefighter was also injured while battling the blaze.
Fire officials said the home sustained significant damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
